/prestige tells you how far the next milestone is, in bits you still have to give, and what waiting to claim it would add. The full meaning of those lines is on the prestige overview.
If you have already claimed milestone 5, a Prestige button is on the message. Press it to reset the bar and stamp the permanents for every step past 5 that you claimed. Your cards, bits, tags, and frames stay. Before milestone 5, there is no button.
